Chubby Cattle BBQ plans Santa Clara restaurant

The planned Santa Clara restaurant would bring Chubby Cattle BBQ's unlimited yakiniku format to a busy stretch near shops and other restaurants. The brand was founded by David Zhao and is known for wagyu beef, tabletop grilling and restaurant tech such as robot servers and conveyor systems.

Chubby Cattle operates under Chubby Group, which also runs hot pot, shabu shabu and barbecue concepts around the United States. The Santa Clara plan adds another South Bay dining project for readers tracking restaurant growth along El Camino Real.
