MIXT aims for July opening in Walnut Creek

Founder Leslie Silverglide says the Walnut Creek location will open with MIXT's summer salads and grain bowls, including Peachy, Elote and Valkyries 2.0. The company started in San Francisco in 2006 and focuses on fresh ingredients and made from scratch menu items.

The East Bay restaurant will also include a custom installation by a local artist, with more opening details still to come before the debut. For Walnut Creek diners, it adds another quick option for salads, bowls and ordering through the app.
