SFPD releases new details in shooting that injured officer
San Francisco police shared body camera footage and a timeline for a May 31 pursuit that ended with gunfire near Bayshore Boulevard and Jerrold Avenue. Officer Brittney Taylor and passenger Ariunsanaa Dolgorsuren were injured, and suspect Norris Reed III faces felony charges.

Police said an automatic license plate reader alerted officers at 10:29 p.m. May 31 to robbery suspects crossing the Bay Bridge into San Francisco in a gray Toyota Camry. Officers attempted a traffic stop at Mission and First streets, but the car fled before crashing into a concrete barrier at Bayshore Boulevard and Jerrold Avenue at 10:46 p.m.
Acting Cmdr. Thomas Harvey said driver Norris Reed III opened the car door and fired at officers, who returned fire. Officer Brittney Taylor and passenger Ariunsanaa Dolgorsuren were hit, Reed was later arrested near the Bayshore Navigation Center, and police said two guns were seized from him.
