World Cup traffic plan urges transit to Santa Clara stadium
Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara will host six World Cup matches from June 13 to July 1, with officials warning of road closures and limited parking nearby. Transit agencies are asking fans to use trains, BART, Muni and shuttles instead of driving.

The stadium will be called San Francisco Bay Area Stadium during the World Cup and is scheduled for five group stage matches and one knockout match. Santa Clara plans phased closures around Tasman Drive, the Stars and Stripes ramp and other routes, with some access limited to credentialed vehicles, residents and emergency vehicles.
Regional agencies have coordinated transit service across BART, Caltrain, VTA and SFMTA. Trips from downtown San Francisco to the stadium are described as about one hour and roughly $10, while Union Square, SoMa and the Fourth Street station area are expected to see extra World Cup shuttle activity during match nights.
