Noodle in a Haystack closes as owners plan new ramen spot
Richmond District restaurant Noodle in a Haystack has closed after four years. Clint and Yoko Tan are now planning Mazé, a more casual mazemen restaurant at Thrive City near Chase Center.

Two deaths on San Francisco streets renew safety concerns
A pedestrian was killed at 7th and Brannan in SoMa on Wednesday morning, and another person was found dead on Geneva Avenue in the Excelsior about an hour later. Police are investigating the second death's cause.
